​Sometimes, take off your shoes and socks and walk on the ground, the grass, the sand or inside your house.


Don’t wear too many clothes on your legs. Your feet and hands need to feel how hot or cold it is. If you cover them too much, you can mess up your brain and skin’s ability to control your body temperature.


Let your feet touch different things. Do this at home too! Your feet help your body and brain work better and stay at the right temperature. You can do this even when it’s cold outside!


Teach kids to enjoy feeling the earth under their feet!
